Mr. Bobby Byrd began his tenure as principal of Leeds Middle School in 2015 and has 29 years’ experience in education. Passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, he has dedicated her career to helping students thrive both academically and personally. Mr. Byrd holds an Education Specialist (EdS) degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, reflecting his commitment to professional growth and educational leadership.
Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family—his wife, two sons, and two dogs—who keep him busy and grounded. Mr. Byrd believes in the power of education to shape futures and is committed to making a positive impact in the Leeds community.
